Kermit Weeks & Fantasy of Flight
We were introduced to Kermit through our lead actress, Brittany Ball. During production on HAZEL JANE, she connected us over FaceTime, and when we traveled to Orlampa for our first in-person meeting, Kermit welcomed us into his world with open arms. He didn't just open his hangar doors, he opened his heart to the story we're telling. From the start, Kermit has believed in Hazel's legacy and in this project. His generosity, wisdom, and willingness to dream alongside us have helped shape not only the film but the spirit that drives it.

Kermit Weeks is an aviator, aircraft designer, author, and one of the most passionate collectors of vintage planes in the world. He started building model airplanes as a kid and went on to study aeronautical engineering in college. By his early twenties, he was designing and flying his own aerobatic aircraft, earning over 20 medals and winning the U.S. National Aerobatic Championships twice. His love for aviation eventually led to restoration, and in 1985, he opened the Weeks Air Museum. After Hurricane Andrew hit in 1992, he relocated the collection and created Fantasy of Flight, an immersive aviation experience built to inspire imagination and personal discovery.

Today, Kermit cares for more than 140 beautifully restored aircraft, many of them rare and still flying, from iconic P-51 Mustangs to a massive Short Sunderland flying boat. He is the largest private vintage aircraft collector in the world. But he's more than a collector. He’s a storyteller, a mentor, and someone who sees flight as a lens for exploring growth, courage, and purpose. These are qualities that mirror our aviatrix, Hazel Raines, and live at the core of INTO THE BLUE.

Nalgene
Nalgene has long stood for exploration, adventure, and environmental consciousness, values that align deeply with the mission behind INTO THE BLUE. As part of our sustainability initiative and part of our hope to reduce single-use plastics on set, Nalgene generously provided reusable water bottles for our entire cast and crew. This simple yet meaningful partnership allows us to take tangible steps toward greener filmmaking, reminding us that care for the planet begins with everyday choices. Just as Hazel Raines broke boundaries in the skies, we aim to honor her pioneering spirit by pushing boundaries on the ground, making filmmaking not only inspiring but responsible.

Vendors on Victory
Dave’s origin story with this project is one of pure magic, and one that kicked off much of this whole adventure! Laura met Dave shortly after moving to Savannah, when a simple homework assignment sent her on the hunt for vintage items to sketch. Armed with a little too much confidence and a few reckless student loan dollars, she walked out of Vendors on Victory with a vintage camera for her assignment and a lamp. And that lamp is the reason we are here now. Over the next several months, Laura kept finding her way back to Dave’s space (*because he truly has the coolest stuff), and when Sarah and Laura set out to transform a home into the 1930s for HAZEL JANE, Dave swooped in. After hearing about the story, he handed the girls yellow tags and a Sharpie and said, “Put HOLD on anything you want.” Deadly… Just like that, Dave jumped in with both feet. Now, Dave and his son Tucker are forever a part of the ITB family, giving this story a life, a heartbeat, and becoming one of the biggest miracles along the way.

S.E.P.S
S.E.P.S., a Savannah-based full production solutions company, was instrumental in the making of INTO THE BLUE. Providing support across production with local connections, their team helped us navigate resources in both Orlando and Savannah. All of our production gear was sourced through S.E.P.S., and their reliability and expertise ensured our production ran smoothly from start to finish. Their support was foundational to the success of the film.

KaliCollection
KaliCollection, an Atlanta-based vintage and contemporary costume house, was a key creative collaborator on INTO THE BLUE. Working closely with our producer and costume designer, Layne Brightwell, their team helped source costumes that brought authenticity, texture, and intention to every character. With access to an expansive collection of garments, vintage textiles, trims, and specialty materials, KaliCollection made it possible to create unique and period-specific pieces. Their collaboration elevated the costume design and helped make our costumes look their very best.
